Head Coach Rex Welch
Coach Rex has more than 27 years of experience coaching both at the collegiate level and club level here in Atlanta.
Rex has coached women’s volleyball teams at Florida State, George Washington and Nebraska- Omaha.
Head Coach Vivienne Pierre
Vivienne, a native of Trinidad and Tobago, began her volleyball career at the age of 11 at St. Joseph’s Convent, St. Joseph High School under the tutelage of Macsood Ali, after being a standout athlete in a number of other sports including swimming and soccer.
Head Coach Brent Bridger
Bridger is currently the Athletic Director at Heritage Preparatory School in Atlanta, Ga. and also serves as the Physical Education Teacher for the school. Prior to Heritage and Georgia Tech, he served as the Director for TCA Atlanta for two years and Assistant Director for two years dating back to the fall of 2006. During his four years with TCA, Coach Bridger led a 15-U team in 2008 to a USA Nationals Qualification. In addition, as the Director in 2010, he coached the 17-U team to a USA National Qualification and also saw the club’s 15-U & 16-U teams Qualify for the National Tournament.
Head Coach Gerré Edwards
Gerrétt was introduced to indoor volleyball quite late. Growing up between Trinidad & Tobago and Lexington, Ky. he would often play beach and/or grass volleyball. He has competed as a A, AA, Setter, DS and OPP on several teams. Has won numerous indoor and outdoor titles as a player. He has also served as Head Coach with North Atlanta Volleyball Club, Starlings, Atlanta Boom, Tempo One and Atlanta Juniors.
A diverse and dedicated athlete, Gerrétt has a proven ability to bring out the best in each athlete that he works with. He is great teacher and even better motivator. He is also still a student of the game. He is not only a Certified Regional Scorekeeper and Ref, he also has USAV certifications including IMPACT and CAP I.
Assistant Coach Chris Bertha
Coach Chris is an experienced beach volleyball player. He is a graduate of Georgia Tech and teaches at Lovett School. Chris currently coaches volleyball at Lovett and has extensive club coaching experience in Atlanta.
Assistant Coach Camden Spade
Camden Spade, a Raleigh, NC native, is a sophomore outside hitter on the Emory University Volleyball team. She is currently pursuing a degree in biology from Emory. Camden is a graduate of Athens Drive High School where she received all conference volleyball honors her junior and senior years.
Dominique Estes
Dominique first started playing volleyball in 7th grade and have played ever since. This equates to a total of 15 years of experience. She played volleyball for St. Pius X High School and Atlanta Juniors Volleyball. Dom was recruited by Fordham University, University of Bridgeport, University of Maryland, Wesleyan University, Howard University, and other colleges. She accepted a Division 1 volleyball scholarship to Wagner College in New York. Her role on the team was primarily a setter and a defensive specialist. Dom has taught several volleyball clinics that were ran by Wagner College for high school students.
Assistant Coach Ashley Crenshaw
Ashley Crenshaw ended her third season as an assistant coach for the Kennesaw State University women’s volleyball program in 2012. She assisted with all aspects of coaching, including recruiting, practice and game preparation, and player development.
